What is CUboardroom?
CUboardroom is a secure, web-based board portal built for credit unions. Board and committee packets, votes, discussion, meetings, and minutes all live in one place. SmartSource operates it, and it has been in service since 2001.
What features does CUboardroom include?
CUboardroom has eight capabilities: event and meeting management, document management and storage, online voting and approvals, discussion and collaboration, expense management, user and access management, optional Zoom integration, and mobile access with mandatory multifactor authentication.
Can board members vote online?
Yes. Directors can vote publicly or privately on resolutions, policies, and other key decisions. Documents can go through approval workflows, and voting results can be audited.
What file types can we store, and is there a storage limit?
Storage is unlimited. CUboardroom supports PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MP3, and MP4 files. PDFs can be annotated and signed, and any document can be set to view-only.
Does CUboardroom handle director expense reimbursements?
Yes. Built-in expense templates and a reimbursement approval workflow replace tracking expenses in a spreadsheet.
Is there a limit on users or groups?
No. Users and groups are unlimited. You can set flexible administrator levels and item-level security for both internal and external users.
Does CUboardroom work with Zoom?
Yes, as an optional integration. Users can start or join Zoom meetings and webinars from inside the portal, so remote and in-person attendees are in the same meeting.
